I’m heartbroken, friend. 💔 Afghanistan is currently facing the world's largest humanitarian crisis.

As an occupying power, the U.S is helping drive the country's economic collapse (here’s how). And as a result, over 3 million children are suffering from malnutrition and only 2% of Afghans have enough food.

Biden and Congress can and must provide relief to the people of Afghan, friend. Just last week, the Biden admin made the right choice to designate TPS to Ukrainians in the U.S. amidst ongoing Russian-led violence in Ukraine. They also announced an immediate and necessary stop of deportation flights to Ukraine.

This made clear what our communities have always known: with the stroke of a pen, Biden and Congress have the power to issue protections for immigrant communities and stop deportations. Yet time and again, they choose who is deserving of safety and who is not.

Now is the time they provide relief to predominantly Black and brown countries. Join us in holding Biden and Congress accountable to doing so by adding your name to our petition.
