From everyone on Team Schakowsky, happy International Women’s Day! We hope that you will join us today in honoring women, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women, and acknowledging the progress that we can still make to advance gender equality.

It is a year-round responsibility to support all women and raise awareness about the issues that disproportionately or exclusively affect women. It is more important now than ever to stand with women, especially while Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose are under attack by Republicans across the country.
