President Biden promised to nominate a Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court once he was elected—and he delivered on that promise by nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Representation matters, folks. It’s past time a Black woman served on the highest court in the land, and Judge Jackson is beyond qualified as one of our brightest legal minds.
But now, Senate Republicans are mapping out how to obstruct yet another qualified Supreme Court nominee based solely on party politics.
