Dear Friend of the National Parks,
What's one thing Americans can agree on?
If you're reading this email, you're probably not surprised that the answer lies in the power of our national parks. You know how special our parks are. You know how they bring people together from all walks of life, how they connect us to our history and to each other. You know that these places have the power to inform, inspire and heal.
But this might surprise you: A new NPCA poll shows that an overwhelming, bipartisan majority of Americans agree that parks can be a solution to the climate crisis.
Watch and share our new video so your friends and family can see: Parks unite us!
As the worsening climate crisis continues to harm our health and our communities, the new NPCA poll shows national parks unite us and offer solutions for addressing it. With visitation to our parks at an all-time high, Americans are seeing the impacts firsthand with parks burning, flooding, melting, and eroding.
We all agree. We cannot and must not wait.
This poll shows that parks bridge our ideological divides. When Americans think about the damage being done to parks -- and think about the value those parks have for us all -- the partisan divide all but disappears.
That's the power of parks. Please watch and share this new video to show people that even on the climate crisis, Americans can find common ground.
You can learn more about the poll by visiting npca.org/parksunite.
Thank you for everything you do for our parks.
Sincerely,
Theresa Pierno
