It's time to change the landscape of who owns property and has access to resources. This year, Girls For A Change has embarked on a year-long fundraising endeavor to purchase our building and remodel it to meet our needs. Black Space Matters now more than ever as legislators and politicians look to erase Black history.

This year, we implore our supporters to help us make HERstory by supporting our #1MReasonstoBuild ([link removed]) Campaign. Our campaign is aimed to help us create and own a safe, positive, and empowering space for our girls. Here they are able to learn, grow, innovate, and take their place as next-generation LeadHERs. This #InternationalWomensDay ([link removed]) , you can help us achieve that goal by making a one-time or recurring donation.

Another way you can support our #1MReasonstoBuild Campaign is through the Diva Bag Auction ([link removed]) . The Diva Bag Auction is an interactive giving event started in 2005, where supporters donate a new or like-new handbag that is auctioned to raise funds for Girls For A Change. We're still in need of designer bag donations as well as items to go in our designer bags to make the raffle special. This is a great opportunity to support GFAC! Join our celebrity supporters and make a donation ([link removed]) in honor of International Women's Day.
