As someone who was raised by a strong, independent mother and Irish immigrant grandmother, I can say with confidence that the progressive values and strong work ethic I pride myself on came directly from the strong women in my life. That's why I want to take a moment to wish you a Happy International Women's Day. Together, we can continue the fight for women's rights!
With Roe v. Wade at risk, I am determined to pass federal legislation that protects women’s right to choose. I also want to raise the minimum wage and make childcare more affordable so working mothers can provide for their families.
It’s no secret that the competition is fierce in this district and the incumbent I’m running against is staunchly conservative. That said, I have you to thank for how far I’ve gotten so far.
