BREAKING >> UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT REJECTED AN EMERGENCY REQUEST TO FREEZE THE CURRENT MAPS.

This is a huge victory! We now have a real chance at electing people in this critical election year who will vote for our values and genuinely serve us.

John, not only is this a victory for often-ignored, underrepresented communities all over Pennsylvania – but there were no noted dissents in the ruling on our state’s maps.

Supreme Court denies GOP requests to block new congressional maps in N.C., Pa. - The Washington Post

That's saying something if even Justice Kavanaugh didn’t dissent.

But we cannot rest even after this massive victory because too much is on the line – the U.S. Senate and House, the governor’s seat, and state legislative seats. We will not see another opportunity for someone like the eminently qualified Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson appointed to the highest bench in our country – or the Commonwealth – and others like her in our state – unless we vote people into office who truly represent our values.

Keep up this vital momentum – we can’t stop knocking doors and registering voters – in fact, we’ve got to go even harder now. >>

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
