I am writing to ask if you can make a contribution to my campaign for Senate. Please give me a chance to explain why your contribution — especially today — is so important.

The Wisconsin Senate race is a huge opportunity for Democrats to pick up a seat to defend their Senate majority. It's been rated one of the most likely seats to flip this cycle, and the polls show that I am the best candidate to defeat Ron Johnson.

This race is simply too important for us to come up short.

At the very start of this campaign, I made the decision to reject all corporate PAC money. And I made that choice knowing that two of my primary opponents have millions of dollars in personal wealth that they will pour into this race. The truth is, they've already started.

So I'm counting on lots of people making small donations in order to fund this campaign. That's the only way we'll have the resources we need to win.

The path forward will not be easy, and I'm going to need your support. So I'm asking you directly:
