We want to take a quick moment to note that today is a special day here at Team Hayes.

We are marking International Women’s Day AND….. fittingly, Jahana’s birthday!

On this International Women’s Day – a day on which we celebrate the strong, resilient women in our lives – we also celebrate our historic female leader. We are reminded that in order to stand for any woman, we must stand for ALL women, particularly at a moment when global conflicts demand the lived experiences of women be heard and accounted for in policymaking. Current world events are certainly making a strong case for more women in leadership.

We have come a long way towards centering the experiences of women in public policy and there’s so much more to do. If there aren’t diverse voices at the table, how can we expect those missing perspectives as part of the outcome?

As a birthday gift, we want to give the Congresswoman a fresh list of supporters who will help her through this year and beyond, so we can keep Jahana at the table fighting for YOU!
