Let's celebrate by kicking Jim Jordan out of Congress

Happy International Women's Day, John.

I think we should celebrate this year by kicking one of our most radically anti-women legislators out of Congress.

Sometimes it can feel like we're slipping backward in the fight for gender equality. Reproductive rights are under serious threat nationwide. Women still make cents on the dollar compared to their male counterparts doing the same work.

And the pandemic hasn't helped. When COVID hit, women lost their jobs at higher rates, and they've been slower to re-enter the workforce. Childcare costs are sky-high, and millions of working mothers are being forced to bear the burden.

Ohio families deserve a champion who will tackle these serious challenges. Instead, they have Jim Jordan.

We know Jim is one of the most radically anti-choice legislators in Congress. He's voted repeatedly to strip away reproductive rights and make it harder for women to access healthcare.

But it's even worse than that. He voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Just last year, he voted no on universal pre-K and affordable childcare. Jim has even voted against the Violence Against Women Act every time it's come up for reauthorization.

Frankly, John, I'm ashamed to call Jim Jordan my representative and to have to explain his actions to my daughter. So I decided to do something about it. I'm running for Congress to be the representative Ohioans deserve. Chip in a few bucks today if you're with us.

I'm grateful to have you with me in this fight, John.
