Friend -

I’d like to introduce you to Ben Therriault (it’s pronounced Terry-o!) who is running for Sheriff in Contra Costa County in California. There are a lot of special things about Ben which is why we have endorsed his candidacy — and why we are doing everything we can to help him win.

We only have until JUNE 7th! Ben Therriault needs your IMMEDIATE support. [link removed]

Ben believes that we can work together to support safety and smart reform through a community policing model that highlights accessibility and encourages resident engagement. When Ben is Sheriff he will have an “open table” where all voices can be heard.

We can’t let law enforcement officials, like Ben’s opponent, continue their closed-door policing and unchecked refusal of anything but the status quo. He’s running against an out-of-tune incumbent who has Jeff Sessions on speed dial.

Please donate today to help Ben Therriault realign the public needs and their safety concerns. [link removed]

⏩One last thing: Ben works the late-night, challenging shifts that he’s long since earned the right to pass on to someone with less seniority *on purpose.* Why? To make sure that, as a single dad, he can always be there to pick his daughter up from school. This is the kind of person Ben Therriault is.

Ben Therriault will also be the first Native American County Sheriff in California history — a historic milestone that is long overdue.

Let’s get Ben elected,

Dc Lozano
California Political Director
