In Ukraine, the weekend brought more devastation as more of the country faced the oncoming violence. Electricity, gas and water supply systems have been damaged, leaving people without heat as temperatures remain close to freezing. There are frequent reports of open fire on schools in Eastern Ukraine. Hospitals and pharmacies in Kyiv are completely empty.
Right now Project HOPE Emergency Response teams are sourcing, shipping and delivering medicines like insulin, medical supplies like bandages, and other urgent assistance to Ukraine and surrounding countries. Whatever the needs are in Ukraine and other places in crisis like Ethiopia, we are committed to saving lives now and for the long run. You've stepped up in the past to help children and families facing disasters. Many refugees from Ukraine are infants and newborns. Diapers, formula, blankets and other supplies help keep them safe and healthy.
* $60 can provide dignity kits for 4 women
Girls and women fleeing violence deserve dignity and need menstrual supplies as they face long waits with limited access to bathrooms.
* $80 can provide 1 month of emergency health supplies
Medicines, disposable hygiene supplies and medical instruments are in short supply.
