Teachers in Sonoma County went on strike this week—and won!

On Wednesday, about 110 teachers in west Sonoma County took to the picket lines. By Friday the union and the school district had reached a tentative agreement giving teachers a 12% raise over the next three years.

Less than 100 miles away in our San Francisco district 12, teachers are also struggling.

Over 64% of public school teachers in San Francisco meet the definition of “rent burdened,” according to SFUSD.

Our opponent has been in Congress for 30 years, and over that time income inequality in San Francisco has only grown.
