Good news: President Joe Biden has joined dozens of vulnerable House Democrats and called for action to lower “absurd” drug prices and hold Big Pharma accountable.
But if there’s any chance of Congress passing drug pricing reforms before the midterms, we know we need to put pressure on Senator Kyrsten Sinema.

To say that Kyrsten Sinema is deep in the pocket of Big Pharma is an understatement.
Reports showed that Center Forward — a dark money group funded by powerful drug lobby Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) — spent $1.2 million since September 2021 to build up support for Senator Sinema.
In turn, she helped gut the Democrats' drug pricing plan from the Build Back Better Act, blatantly refusing to keep her campaign promise to millions of Arizonans to lower drug prices.
And now, with this legislation coming back around — who knows what Big Pharma will pull to make sure that Kyrsten Sinema obstructs her Democratic colleagues’ agenda?
We can’t stand on the sidelines to wait to find out, John. We need to make sure Kyrsten Sinema doesn’t betray us again to protect Big Pharma’s bottom line.
