There's still time to take our stock trading poll, friend!

Chris is co-sponsoring bipartisan legislation to ban members of Congress and their families from trading individual stocks because we need to restore accountability to public service.

Let us know what you think: Do you agree that members of Congress should be banned from trading individual stocks?

Subject: Do you agree members of Congress should be banned from trading stocks?

Team,

Our elected officials have an obligation to use their positions to serve the people and never use their positions for personal or financial gain. However elected officials too often abuse their positions, and one of those ways is by using insider knowledge to trade and profit from the stock market.

A recent study found that 54 members of Congress violated the STOCK Act, a law meant to stop insider trading and prevent conflicts of interest in Congress. To end the corrupting influence of big money in politics, we need to take action.

That's why Chris is co-sponsoring bipartisan legislation to ban members of Congress and their families from trading individual stocks.

This shouldn't be a partisan issue. Chris believes we have a responsibility to restore accountability and ensure public service doesn't become self service. But he wants to know what you think: Do you agree that members of Congress should be banned from trading individual stocks?
