We have 78 days until the runoff election. Here are [4] reasons why we need your support now more than ever to help Jessica Cisneros win:

1. First, all eyes are on the TX-28 House race. Jessica has an opportunity to defeat one of the most conservative Democrats to Congress and bring progressive change to South Texas. So Henry Cuellar and his conservative pundits are paying close attention to our fundraising progress. The more we raise, the more we can propel our campaign to victory. If we don’t raise enough, we won’t be able to compete with Henry Cuellar’s multi-million-dollar fundraising base.
   
   
2. Second, South Texas demands and deserves new representation. Given the news on Henry Cuellar being investigated by the FBI, many voters from Laredo to San Antonio are questioning if Cuellar is really fit to lead. If more people give to our campaign, it will send a clear message that our district is more than ready for new representation and show the resilience of our movement heading into the runoff and general election.
   
   
3. Third, Republicans are keeping their eyes on this race too! Our opponents, especially Texas Republicans, are expecting us to have low numbers, and so we need to show them the exact opposite. Ted Cruz is funding thousands of dollars to help his Republican challenger in this race.
   
   
4. Fourth (and last), if we can raise $6,000 in the next 24 hours, we’ll be off to a great start on covering our GOTV expenses. If we’re successful, we can blow away the expectations of everyone (including the naysayers) who are watching our campaign and fund the tools we need to defeat Henry Cuellar and elect Jessica Cisneros to Congress.
