to meet you, I’m Leo — the Deputy Campaign Manager for Team Booker.
I’m so excited to be a part of this historic movement to replace Rand Paul
and expand our majority in the U.S. Senate.
In a moment, I want to share some thoughts with you about the priorities
of our campaign and a few of the challenges we face over the next year.

champion for working-class families to represent Kentucky this year.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been on the road with Charles traveling
across Kentucky to meet voters and talk about the issues they care about
most.

Everywhere we go, from the hood to the holler, we hear the same thing:
Kentuckians are sick and tired of Rand Paul, and are hungry for a Senator
that will actually fight for them.
I’m going to be straight with you. These next few months
are going to be tough. My team and I, along with thousands of Kentuckians
across the Commonwealth, are giving it our all to turn out the massive
number of voters we’ll need to win this race. We’re putting in long hours,
working weekends, and driving thousands of miles.
But let me tell you something — it will all be worth it because we believe
in Charles, and we believe in this movement.
It’s worth it because this November, we will finally elect a Senator who
understands first-hand what it’s like to stand in the unemployment line,
to ration insulin in order to to feed your family, and to feel left
behind.
It’s clear that our movement is on the rise and the GOP hasn’t failed to
notice. Rand Paul’s friends on Wall Street are already making mega
donations to help his campaign so they can flood our race with dark money.
But corporate PACs are no match to our grit and determination.
