We’re not going to sugarcoat this, John. This is really damaging.
Another abortion ban was just passed in Florida after the Supreme Court made it clear they’re not going to strike down a similar abortion ban in Texas.
Anti-abortion extremists and Republicans are putting our reproductive freedom under full attack. We need to respond ASAP with the full-force of our women-led, grassroots movement and mobilize our organizers in states ALL across the country so we can push back against these attacks and defend our reproductive rights.
Florida is following in the dangerous footsteps of states like Texas and Mississippi – with 23 more states at risk of banning abortion if Roe v. Wade gets overturned. To make matters worse, the Supreme Court is deliberating over a consequential abortion law as we speak, with the fate of Roe v. Wade hanging in the balance.
It’s all part of a bigger plan funded by conservatives and anti-abortion extremists to dismantle our reproductive rights all across the country.
Fighting back against this slate of attacks is going to take millions of Women’s Marchers organizing together to make sure our rights are protected on the local and federal level — especially leading up to this critical Supreme Court hearing. Whatever decision the Supreme Court makes, this will have a widespread impact on all of us, so we must start preparing now.
Women’s Marchers are powerful when we organize, march, and mobilize together to protect our rights and ensure the future we deserve. This is how we defeated Trump and this is how we’ll continue resisting against attacks on our feminist values.
