Folks, I want to take a minute to re-introduce myself to you. My name is Terri Sewell. I’m a 3rd generation Selmian, a voting rights advocate, a proud product of America’s Black belt – and I’m running for Congress to lift up the people of Alabama.
This race is unlike any I’ve faced in recent years. A GOP opponent is gearing up to unseat me in one of the toughest years for Democrats to date. Please, if you’re able, will you chip in $5 to my campaign so that I have the resources I need to keep fighting in Congress?

My grandfather was a sharecropper. He spent years toiling in fields to support his family. His labor built the foundation for my love of America’s Black Belt. In this land, I’m able to see how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go for everyone’s voices to be heard.
My family instilled in me an appreciation for hard work and community. Alabama’s history and its potential inspired me to keep raising my voice for progress.
As the first Black woman to represent Alabama’s 3rd district, I’m working hard to preserve the legacy of this land while continuing to push toward a brighter future for our families.
I will never let up in my efforts to expand access to health care, create a more equitable public education system, ensure every citizen has access to the voting booth, and give every worker an opportunity to earn a living wage. This is the least I can do for this great state, and I will not rest until it’s done.
If I’m going to continue my efforts to be the voice Alabama needs in Congress, I’ll need your support, team. Our progress depends on having the right leaders in Washington to lift our community up. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $25, or anything you can to my campaign to fight for Alabama?
