The Washington Post just reported that gun violence has stolen 12.6 million years of life from us in just one decade. This incomprehensible number encompasses so many other things we have lost that simply can’t be quantified: futures, hopes, goals…
John, how can our lawmakers keep letting this happen? How many more years of life will the inaction of our representatives steal from us?
I say, no more. We deserve to live, to see the futures we dream of, to see our children grow up.
I say, enough.
Please, John, I really need your voice raised with mine: President Biden has urged Congress multiple times to pass common sense gun violence prevention laws – ones that do not infringe on the Second Amendment – and expand Brady Background Checks. With gun deaths still on the rise, it has never been more urgent to act:
