Team,

This morning, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 26 became the latest union to endorse Tom and Shannon – together, these union endorsements represent over 100,000 Maryland households!

Unions like IBEW continue to support Tom and Shannon because they know a Perez-Sneed administration will keep the lights on for Maryland families (pun intended) and keep fighting for good-paying union jobs, equal justice, and equal opportunity.

Now, we need to make sure everyone else in Maryland knows it, too – and that's where you come in. Tom and Shannon are counting on your grassroots support to make critical investments in voter outreach, communications, and advertising leading up to the primary.

Our ability to get the word out about Tom's plans to support union workers and pave a pathway to the middle class depends on how much we can raise right now. Please pitch in $5 or whatever you can afford to support Tom and Shannon's campaign >> [[link removed]]

Team, Tom's fought for working families his entire career and will continue to do so as Governor of Maryland, but don't just take our word for it.

IBEW said it best: "Tom Perez fought for Union electricians on the Montgomery County Council, as Maryland Secretary of Labor, and as U.S. Secretary of Labor. [He] is a staunch supporter of creating middle class careers and stands out as a 'Champion of Labor.'"

Champion is exactly right. Throughout Tom's career in public service, he's fought on behalf of working families to:

- Implement the nation’s first living wage law,
- Fight corporate wage theft,
- Protect homeowners from foreclosure and fraud,
- Advocate for paid sick and family leave,
- Create 125,000+ apprenticeship opportunities as US Labor Secretary, and
- Help Verizon retail workers secure protections and benefits following a 37,000 person strike.

No one in this race is more dedicated or more prepared to bring good-paying jobs to Maryland and fight for working families than Tom.

Marylanders need Tom and Shannon in Annapolis to finally prioritize jobs, justice, and opportunity for ALL. Chip in now to make sure they have the resources needed to WIN >> [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Team Tom
