Friend,
Late in February, we reached out urging you to submit a public comment to the Bureau of Land Management speaking out against the Willow project—a 30-year commitment to oil and gas drilling in sensitive Alaskan ecosystems and near Indigenous communities. It's the single largest oil extraction project currently proposed on U.S. public land.
We have huge news: Thanks to supporters like you, we've already submitted over 4,000 official public comments directly to decision-makers!
Thanks to this surge of momentum, we're setting an ambitious goal of submitting 7,500 total comments by the official deadline this week. But we're not doing it alone—we're partnering with climate organizations across the country to make a huge final push before the comment period closes.
We promised our partner organizations that our grassroots community would step up. Can we count on you to take this easy, one-minute action and sign an official comment against Willow to help us meet our goal of 7,500 total comments? Just add your name, and we'll officially submit it on your behalf before our deadline tomorrow!
Thank you for taking direct action against fossil fuels today,
Lena Moffitt
