I’m sure you already know how bad Pat Toomey is. I could
write yinz an email about how he’s spent his 10+ years in the Senate
hiding from Pennsylvanians, or how he wants PA to adopt the racist voting
restrictions we’re seeing in Georgia and Texas. I could write you a whole
entire email just about that, trust me.

But the #1 thing you need to know about Pat Toomey is this: He is not
seeking re-election, which is why this race has been named one of the
*most competitive* Senate races of 2022.

It’s why there are so many candidates — on both sides of the aisle —
trying to win this seat.

And it’s why, today, I’m humbly asking:

By the end of Q1 in 2016 — the last time this Senate seat was contested —
Pat Toomey had more than $9.1 MILLION cash on hand. It ended up being the
most expensive Senate seat of the 2016 campaign cycle.

So, with how crucial (and flippable) this seat is, we know the GOP is
willing to spend as much money as possible to make sure we don’t win.
After all, they’ve already spent nearly $40 million on TV and radio ads in
PA. Which leads me to share this mind-blowing stat:

This election is now on track to be the most expensive Senate race in PA
history. 🤯 And we haven’t even reached the primary yet.

Supporters like you are helping us fight back against the buckets of money
the GOP and their super PACs are dumping into PA. But we can’t afford to
lose momentum if we want to make sure they don’t buy this seat.
