Friend --
There are only 108 days until the
Democratic primary in California when we have a chance to put a
working-class hero in the White House! East Bay DSA has been talking
to thousands at the doors and on their commutes about Bernie Sanders
and the diverse, working-class movement that we're building to change
the world! Here are two upcoming events that are perfect for new
members, union buddies, and the socialism curious to get plugged into
our 2020 electoral work!

"HOW TO WIN THANKSGIVING"
POTLUCK
SUNDAY,
NOVEMBER 17th, 7–9pm
East
Bay Community Space 507 55th st., Oakland
Do the coming weeks of life include
travel, specific gourds or meats, and/or complex feelings about a
holiday rooted in colonial genocide? Then join us for a Friendsgiving potluck among
comrades!
We'll be sharing tips on talking to
friends and family about Bernie and democratic socialism and enjoying
some good home-cooked food to boot! Please bring some favorite foods to share and label whatever you
bring with its contents (Vegan? Meaty? Has almonds?) so people can
know what they’re getting into.
DEMOCRATIC DEBATE WATCH PARTY
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH, 5–8 p.m.
B4bel4b Gallery, 184 10th st.
Oakland
Come to the Democratic Debate watch party, co-hosted by chapters of
the Young Democratic Socialists of America and East Bay Democratic
Socialists of America! We'll be hearing from speakers about the
movement for Bernie in schools and on campuses, and how his public
education program could transform the lives of working people in this
country.
The debate starts at 5:00pm, so come early to hang out. It’s free
and open to everyone!
