------------------------------------------------------------
This month, NPQ’s Climate Justice newsletter widens the scope of who—and what—gets a legitimate, rightful voice in the fight for climate justice. Our first feature expands on the growing global movement for “environmental personhood,” which posits that nature itself should have legal rights and protected interests and, in doing so, unsettles basic ideological building blocks of extractive capitalism. Our next three articles feature the voices of women, Indigenous environmental leaders, and leaders of color on why their fight for climate justice is crucial if we want to win back our planet from the interests of imperialism and capitalism—that is, to win a planet for all.
