This week is National Consumer Protection Week, providing an opportunity to champion our work protecting consumers and warn Coloradans about scam artists and fraudsters.

I am committed to protecting consumers and standing up to monopolists and irresponsible actors who prey on working families. As your Attorney General, I am proud of our team’s record which includes:

Recovering over $35 million for consumers and putting those funds back in their pocketbooks;
Recovering $35 million in debt relief for student borrowers;
Suing Big Tech monopolists Google and Facebook for harming consumers;
Stopping scammers from preying on vulnerable Coloradans, including taking on a company who targeted and misled vulnerable communities through its deceptive practice of law without a license; and
Taking multiple scammers to court during the pandemic, including those who marketed false cures, provided deceptive tests, and defrauded the unemployment insurance system.
