John,
Ketanji Brown Jackson made history last month as the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court.
I know what it’s like to be the first Black woman in a space typically reserved for white men. If elected to Congress, I would not only be the first woman to ever represent my district — I would be the first Black woman to represent the entire state of Nebraska.
As a Black woman running for Congress and a leader in my community, I honor those who have come before me and continue to lift up the next generation of Black leaders. I deeply admire Ketanji Brown Jackson’s courage and leadership and look forward to the change she will make on the bench.
Women like Ketanji Brown Jackson and me are forging new paths for the next generation of Black women, and we’re counting on your support. Will you invest in our history-making campaign with a contribution of any amount today?

Looking forward to continuing to break down barriers with you,
