As a Black woman, an attorney, and a dedicated organizer, I’ve always been an outspoken advocate in the fight against injustice — particularly when it comes to the racial injustice plaguing our community.
The first march I ever attended as a child was to protest a police brutality incident on my block. And ever since, I’ve worked to make Black voices heard, speak out against police brutality in marginalized communities, and fight back against the white supremacy corrupting our systems.
I’m ready to lead the fight to protect Black lives, end police brutality, and deliver justice for over-policed, under-served communities like ours.
As your next Congresswoman, I won’t just pay lip service to the cause of racial justice (unlike my opponent). I’ll work every single day to push for bold, historic action to combat white supremacy and dismantle the corrupt system that leaves Black and Brown communities behind.
