There are new developments in the U.S. Senate race in Michigan. Democrats have been investing money into this race to fend off Conservative Republican John James after two earlier polls had showed the race a dead-heat.
The Democrat spending has given Democrat incumbent Gary Peters a small bounce - he now leads Republican John James by six points in the latest Emerson Poll. With this race within six-points, it is still one of the best opportunities for Republicans to flip a Democrat-held seat into the GOP column:
Gary Peters has been a militant Democrat Senator, and the people of Michigan deserve better, and since his votes impact every American, we all deserve better.
The Club for Growth rated Peters as a 0% for his voting record.
The National Right to Life gave Peters a 0% rating.
National Federation of Independent Businesses gave Peters a 0% rating.
And the American Conservative Union and Conservative Review both gave Peters an "F" rating.
Gary Peters voted against President Trump's Supreme Court nominees, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. And liberal Gary Peters voted against the Trump Tax Cuts.
