I just had a really tough conversation, folks.
Earlier today, Tim and I went over the numbers and we just don’t have the
money in our budget to launch our TV ads when we need to.
Look, we didn’t plan for this much GOP spending this early on in our
battleground race. I mean, $80 million are you kidding me?!
Now I’m scrambling to rework our projections and do whatever it takes to
get these ads running. Polling shows that winning this race literally
depends on getting TV ads up as soon as possible.
We’ve reached a turning point in this race—we either hustle and raise the
funds we need to get back on track for victory, or we fall short and allow
Mitch McConnell to buy this seat and secure the Senate majority.
