I want to tell you a story about a woman who inspires me, and I hope will inspire you.
Her name is Raj Randhawa. She was born in India, at a time and a place when girls were rarely educated beyond high school, and yet, she finished law school. She was one of the first women to be picked to sit on the judicial bench in India, but she couldn’t take the position because her family didn’t approve.
She came to America, knowing this was a land filled with opportunity. She taught sixth-grade social studies and then she started her own business in her living room. As her business grew, she moved to a storefront. Over time, she built up a successful clothing store and helped provide for her four children.
She is one of the strongest women I have ever known. And she is my mother.
Girls and women can do anything if we teach them to reach for the stars. And they can be anything if we encourage them to use the power of their voices.
March is Women’s History Month – a good time to remember women leaders who changed the world.
We need strong female leaders in office. And we need to rally behind strong conservative women and help them cross the finish line so they can take the next step in serving our country.
Liberals like to pretend there are no conservative women. They couldn’t be more wrong. Which is why I’m asking for you to pitch in a special donation today.
Over the past year, I’ve endorsed, advised and financially supported over a dozen Republican women for office. We need each one of these incredible females fighting to uphold and defend our nation’s values, but they need your support.
