GOP gerrymandering bigwig Chris Christie is upset with us – and with state Supreme Courts in Ohio and North Carolina that have ruled in favor of fair redistricting.

It’s clear the Republicans have not taken their losses in state courts well and we can expect them to spend big on defeating elected judges who upheld fair maps in the 2022 elections. You can bet we’ll be investing big to stop them (Chip in to support our anti-gerrymandering efforts >>)
Christie thinks Republicans should do a better job placing justices on the bench who will support their gerrymandered districts and other gerrymandering tactics.

So, John, it looks like we have our work cut out for us. Not only do we still have to work on the ground to stop the GOP from gerrymandering in the first place, and support voters in court, we also have to counter Republican efforts to stack state Supreme Courts to get the redistricting outcomes they want.
