This past week we saw one of the most important developments in the January 6 Committee’s investigation.
In a court filing, the Committee stated that they believe there was enough evidence to suggest that Trump and his lawyers knowingly committed fraud on the United States by pushing his fake narrative that the election was stolen from him, and openly obstructed an official proceeding of Congress.
Team, this lie is what led to the attack on the Capitol – and Trump’s second impeachment charge that the rest of the impeachment team and I proudly argued for in the Senate.
Yet, despite all of this, Trump is still raising a lot of money to fund another run for the White House and support his far-right congressional candidates. We must come together and counter this far-right offensive from taking over Congress this November. Will you join me today and defend our majority from Trump’s minions?
