Hi John, I wanted to make sure you had a chance to sign my petition.

Last month, President Biden nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court — who would become the first Black woman to serve as a Supreme Court justice if confirmed.

With Senate hearings over her nomination just a couple of weeks away, I’m hoping to build a groundswell of grassroots support in favor of a fair and speedy confirmation process.

Senate Democrats have a simple majority, which is all they need to confirm Judge Jackson — so they cannot let obstructionist Republicans get in the way of her confirmation with baseless, racist attacks on her record.

I’m calling on the Senate to confirm this qualified judge to the Supreme Court without delay and give the bench the representation we deserve. Will you join me?
