Democratic Attorneys General are always working to make sure that large corporations are held accountable. Just recently, a coalition of AGs landed a settlement of $26 billion from companies that have contributed to the opioid crisis, marking a huge win for victims and their families.
Dem AGs are our protectors. Without them, our communities would be missing a critical line of defense against bad actors who exploit our communities. This latest settlement will change people’s lives by providing support to those who have suffered during this crisis.
The settlement that our Dem AGs won will provide life-changing value to people whose lives have been upended by the opioid crisis. People who have suffered addiction or have loved ones with addiction will see some relief for what they’ve been through. Dem AGs work hard every single day to win victories like this and to make sure that our lives are safer.
