Friend,

It has been a week since I sought the honor of the Presidency. I meant what I wrote then:

What Americans most want today is someone who is accountable to them , above self, above party, above any special interest … a President who has the depth of global experience to restore America’s leadership in the world to protect our American Dream at home … and one who is trusted to restructure policies where too many see only the growth of inequity not of the economy.

Without trust, we will continue with Presidents who are able only to do executive orders that are replaced by the next President, as America stagnates.

And while I waited to ensure Alex, our daughter, was in a safe harbor from her reoccurrence of brain cancer, I ask you to believe that I can win and be the President who serves the American people the way they want to be served - selflessly, for them alone.

I ask for your contribution for that sole reason. Yes, all you might do; but even $1 (or $5) will help in the Democratic requirement to qualify for the debate (several hundred donors in each of 20 states ... and I have supporters in every one!)
