According to a recent report by The Hill, a new GOP strategy to spend big on state supreme court races that could impact future redistricting cases comes after judges in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina overturned or blocked their gerrymandered maps.

“A prominent Republican outside group is planning a new wave of spending targeting state Supreme Court elections after a wave of decisions on redistricting maps that have broken in favor of Democrats this year.”
