Subject: Taking a break from my regularly scheduled cat nap
It's not easy being the first cat. My job responsibilities include keeping Cedar Crest rodent free, showing constituents around my home, and making sure my mom's policy plans are purr-fect.
My mom works extra hard to make sure Kansas is the best home possible for everyone. I hear her talking to her team a lot about expanding Medicaid, improving our Foster Care System, and balancing our state's budget. But I also heard her talking (when she was supposed to be giving me catnip) about how we're falling a little behind on our fundraising for the month.
Look, my mom has been hard at work fighting for the people of Kansas, and we need to make sure we're fighting with her too. I'm taking a break from my regularly scheduled cat nap to ask you a very important question: can I count on you to help my mom hit her $8,000 November mid-month fundraising goal?
