John, in a minute
I'm going ask you for a personal favor: [ [link removed] ]To make your
first $5
donation to our grassroots campaign to flip this seat blue and add another
voice for working families to the U.S. Senate.

But before I get to that, I wanted to tell you about a point in my life
that inspired me to get involved in public service: My time in AmeriCorps.

Waaaaaaaay back in 1995, I decided to quit my job and join AmeriCorps. My
site was the Hill House Association in Pittsburgh's legendary Hill
District. There, I taught GED classes to young mothers + fathers, and set
up the very first computer labs in the neighborhood.

I had just begun my personal and professional commitment to work against
our nation’s raging racial + economic inequality. I had the great fortune
of serving two years there.

Two years may not sound like a long time,
John, but here's the truth: It was all the
time it took for me to never look back. I learned in those few years that
there was so much work to be done. So I've committed every year of my life
since then to making meaningful progress for working Pennsylvanians, no
matter their ZIP code, race, sexual orientation, or income level.

Back then, Windows 95 was cutting-edge technology. Safe to say, a *lot*
has changed in the last 25+ years. But while our nation's political
policies and priorities certainly may have changed, my core principles
haven't.

I’m humbled to be in this journey alongside you as I run for U.S.
Senate, John, and I'm proud to
be running on a quarter-century record of championing these core
principles, places, and people.

From my days in AmeriCorps to today, my values have stayed steady. They’re
the values behind this campaign, the ones I know you and I share. And
together, we can bring these values to Washington D.C.

[ [link removed] ]That’s exactly what I'd do in the Senate — but truth be told, I'll need
a whole lot of help from you and this team to get there. If you can chip
in $5 or more to help fuel our grassroots campaign today,
I'd be so grateful.

Thank you for being in my corner. I can't tell you how much it means to me
that you're here in this fight alongside me, Gisele, and our whole
campaign.

More soon,

John

John Fetterman
Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania

P.S. In all my years of public service — and even a few years before that
— my sole focus has been on one thing: Making life tangibly better for
working people all across Pennsylvania. [ [link removed] ]If that's what you think PA's
next Senator should be focusing on, then I'm respectfully asking you to
chip in your first
$5 to our campaign today. Every single
grassroots donation goes a long way.
