What is the Real State of Our Union?

Friend,
This week, President Biden told you the state of our union is strong. But the reality to most Americans is very different. In the President’s first year, inflation has hit a 40-year high, more illegal immigrants have crossed the southern border than ever before, violent crime surged across the country, and you can literally count the number of foreign policy disasters by the number of embassies the U.S. evacuated.
Northeast Wisconsinites know the real state of the union, and it's very different from what the President outlined earlier this week. Hear from some of them below or watch more here.

From a mom:
"The Biden administration and White House are promulgating policies that aren't necessarily supporting families...They're not taking into account what families need... be it local community concerns about education, be it concerns about the rising cost of groceries, rising cost of fuel, or the crime that we're seeing in our communities."

From a veteran:
"There's a lack of American leadership on the world stage that is making America unsafe...
"Remember: China is watching. And if we don't show some strength now, what's going to stop China? What's going to stop North Korea? What's going to stop Iran? Nothing."

From a sheriff:
"I would describe the current state of our union as wrought with political divide. There's too much division and there are no solutions to the problems we're seeing that are being offered"...
"With the border situation the way it is, we aren't seeing federal dollars coming our way to try and help combat some of the drug problems that that is creating for us."

The good news is that there's still time to right the ship, but for the President to do so, he's going to need a course correction. The obvious way to start is by ending his administration’s war on American energy, cutting off America’s imports of Russian oil, and reinstating the Keystone Pipeline and the thousands of good-paying Wisconsin jobs that come with it.
