Friend,

Last month, Senators Jon Ossoff and Mark Kelly introduced the Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act, which would make it illegal for sitting Members of Congress to trade stock while they’re privy to insider knowledge as an elected official.

The bill would require Members and their spouses and family members to place their stock ownership in a blind trust while in office. We’ve seen how serving in Congress can unfairly financially benefit Members who have access to inside information hidden to the rest of the public, and it’s time to put that to an end.

Polls show that 78% of voters support this ban. But we want to hear from you. Take our 1-Click Poll and let us know what you think!

John, do you support the Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act?

Thank you so much for letting us know.

Best,
