Back again with an update on the DCCC’s 2022 Frontline Program List. Today we’re highlighting two more of our members from the midwest: Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) and Rep. Angie Craig (MN-02).

As we mentioned previously in our introduction of our midwest frontliners, Rep. Stevens is running for reelection in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District. Unfortunately, due to Michigan's new congressional map, she is now competing against Democratic colleague Rep. Levin in the upcoming primary. The newly drawn 11th Congressional District is more Democratic – making the primary a hotly contested race.

Rep. Craig currently represents the only remaining swing district in Minnesota, which she won in 2018. However, her newly redrawn district is more conservative than even the GOP expected, presenting an unpredictable twist to a race in which her Republican opponent Tyler Kistner came within 2.3 percentage points of winning in 2020.
