A couple of days ago Tucker Carlson asked for LSAT scores for President Biden’s trailblazing Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Folks, having to prove your worth in America is something Black people go through all the time. Whether it’s a promotion, or a Black person starting their own business, people like Tucker Carlson refuse to believe that we’ve earned our success, and that we’ve worked pretty darn hard to get to where we are.

And it’s exhausting.

As Americans, we must be better than this. We must be there to support each other and celebrate our success, not question it. I will always use my platform to call out anyone that questions Black progress. Will you join me today and let Tucker Carlson know that no Supreme Court nominee is under any obligation to prove themselves to him?

All that being said, my team and I would like to take this moment to say thank you for differentiating yourself from the likes of Tucker Carlson, and for supporting Black members of Congress like myself and the rest of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Please continue to support Black progress today and let Tucker know his race-baiting antics have no place in our society.
