Hi folks, it’s Congressman Adam Schiff reaching out on behalf of my friend, Susie Lee. I value your time, so I’ll cut right to the chase:

Her race is heating up with outside groups and Republicans in Washington preparing to spend millions to support her Republican opponents. To combat this, Susie’s team has set an ambitious goal of raising $5,000 before their midnight deadline tonight.

For as long as I’ve known her, Congresswoman Lee has been a champion for the values that we fight hardest for as Democrats – equal rights, health care, reliable job opportunities, protecting our environment, and so much more. We’ve had the opportunity to work together on so much of this and pass legislation important to the American people.

But I know the only way we can succeed in the fight for our values is if we have champions in Congress like Susie Lee there to lead the charge. And I have to be candid with you: Susie’s race is shaping up to be extremely competitive. But with you in her corner, I know that she will have a fighting chance.
