Like you, I am outraged by the unacceptable developments in Texas that are targeting transgender and gender nonconforming children. Let’s be clear. Their leaders have failed them.

Children should never be subjected to cruel legislation that will have a lasting impact on their personal lives. No family should fear being torn apart because they support their trans child's journey in becoming their truest self.

As Chicago's first LGBTQ+ Mayor, I will ALWAYS stand with our LGBTQ+ communities and remain committed to doing everything and anything I can to protect everyone's right to be exactly who you are. Please add your name to my petition, calling on Texas legislators to immediately end the targeting of transgender youth and their families >>>
