** James stands with the people of Ukraine -- calls to immediately stop buying Russian oil.

James continues to pray for the people of Ukraine and to find actual solutions to stop funding Putin's aggression against the free people of Ukraine. He has called for the Biden Administration to allow for more US oil production to regain our energy independence again and to stop buying Russian oil, which is paying for Putin to murder Russia's neighbors.
Cindy and James continue to ask for prayers for the resilient people of Ukraine, for peace, and for resolution.

** Lankford Blocks Democrats' Tone-Deaf Abortion Bill

This week, James stopped an attempt by Democrats to allow abortion on demand up until birth. James said, "the whole world is talking about Ukraine and the oppression they are experiencing, and the United States Senate is talking about how do we get more abortions in America. That's what we're going to vote on? That's what we're going to debate, is how we get and increase abortions in America when the world sees what's happening in Ukraine. What in the world? How tone-deaf can we be?"

** James Leads Congress to Stand up for Coach Who was Fired for Praying

Since 2015, James has stood with Coach Kennedy, who was fired for taking a knee and praying after high school football games. On Wednesday, James led more than 50 members of Congress to support Coach Kennedy as the Supreme Court prepares to review his case. James said, "If Coach Kennedy took a knee during the National Anthem, his school would have praised him, but instead he took a knee after a football game to pray, so the school fired him. Schools cannot pick and choose which type of free speech or faith expression they like or do not like. We live in a nation that honors personal freedom."

** Ted Cruz Endorses James' Re-election

Team Lankford is excited to announce the endorsement of Senator Ted Cruz for James' re-election. He said of James, "I am proud to endorse James Lankford for reelection. James is a strong Christian, a conservative, and a friend. He’s a passionate leader fighting to defend the unborn and to protect the Second Amendment. Where is #TeamLankford?
James was in Bartlesville meeting with the Chamber, Business Development Authority, and with Former State Rep Earl Sears and for a meet and greet hosted by #TeamLankford Washington County Chair Rebecca Whisman. Even an ice storm didn't stop James from attending several events in Oklahoma City last week before heading to CPAC to talk about what our country needs to do to stop Big Tech from having the tools to decide who gets free speech and who does not.
