John,
Pneumonia, diarrhea and malaria. These are three of the biggest killers
of children under the age of 5. Each of these are completely curable and
preventable – and yet children are still struggling to survive these
illnesses because they don’t have access to the care and medicine they
need.
As we spend this week recognizing the biggest factors that keep
children from growing up healthy, we at Save the Children are counting
on you to improve the health and survival of vulnerable children around
the world who deserve nothing less than a healthy childhood:
To make sure we stay on track to reach
10,000 supporter actions before Universal Children’s Day, we need 3,000
people to take our pledge before midnight. Add your name now to say: I
believe that EVERY child deserves a chance to grow up with the resources
and support they need for a healthy childhood!
As you read this, our teams are on the ground in the world’s most
vulnerable communities – delivering lifesaving vaccines, medicine and
other critical health services to the children who need them most. And
it’s all thanks to the generous support of people like you.
You’re essential to everything our frontline health workers and
volunteers do to save the lives of children. That’s why we’re counting on you to take our pledge now and
voice your belief that no child should die of a disease or illness that
is entirely preventable and treatable.
Your actions, big and small, do so much to create change that lasts a
lifetime for the world’s most vulnerable children. We can’t thank you
enough.
