NDRC tweet: Republicans in states like North Carolina, Texas, and Ohio have been brazen in their gerrymandering. But across the country, voters are rising up and fighting back! Here are just a few examples // NDRC tweet: They’ve filed lawsuits to undo gerrymandered maps in at least five states, the U.S. Department of Justice sued Texas over its manipulated maps, and, most recently, the Ohio Supreme Court STRUCK DOWN the GOP’s rigged state House and Senate maps!

That’s not all! In North Carolina and Pennsylvania, two of the most gerrymandered states 10 years ago, courts have approved fair, competitive congressional maps!

So what’s next? As President Obama told us, the struggle for fair redistricting is far from over – especially with ongoing lawsuits and the 2022 elections coming up.
