Last night was the deadline for candidates to officially file for November’s elections — and they’re running under district lines that BLATANTLY favor the Republican legislators who drew them.

November's elections are truly underway, and Democrats are running with a massive disadvantage.

GOP members of the legislature who controlled the redistricting process have done everything possible to guarantee themselves a supermajority. If they succeed, Republicans will be able to push through their ultra-radical agenda without ANYONE being able to stand in their way.

We all know that the GOP’s policies are simply WRONG for our state. If we’re going to prevent Republicans from attacking voting rights, health care access, and so much more, NC Democrats MUST unite around protecting Roy’s veto power. But it won’t be easy — it’ll take all of us working together to defy Republicans’ partisan gerrymandering and elect leaders we can count on.
