Fellow Conservative,
There’s a lot to cover this week on all fronts. Let’s get straight to it.
Democrats Push for Omnibus Spending Package
There will be an upcoming battle NEXT WEEK in Congress to fund the government for the remainder of the 2022 fiscal year.
Legislators are putting together a spending package worth $1.5 trillion that will serve to fund pieces of their far-left agenda:
- Green climate policy priorities.
- Failed provisions of “Build Back Broke”.
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion training along with other facets of critical race theory.
- Biden’s vaccine mandates that oust our healthcare workers and service members.
This is where Heritage Action draws a red line. It’s the pinnacle of American decline when selfless American heroes are being fired for not taking the jab. As of March 2, 873 United States Marines had been discharged from the Marine Corps with the vaccine refusal discharge code.
America is in a much better position if we continue Trump-era funding through a continuing resolution, rather than fund the Left’s socialist agenda and provide more money for Biden to purge the unvaccinated from our military.
Take Action >>> If you haven’t already, call your member of the House of Representatives <[link removed]> and tell them to REJECT an omnibus deal unless two things happen:
- President Biden must end the national declaration of emergency that he declared on March 13, 2020. The executive branch has to let Americans get back to living free from government control.
- President Biden also needs to reverse every unlawful COVID-19 vaccine mandate that has punished members of the United States armed forces, healthcare workers, and government contractors.
These mandates that damage America's fabric have to end and conservatives should reject a spending package that allocates more funding for government overreach.

Happening in DC
Student Loans— Biden wants to extend the freeze on student loan payments until after the midterm elections (the freeze will currently end in May). The polling is so bad for Democrats that they are trying to keep the pandemic alive through November in an effort to buy votes.
The Postal Reform Act— The Senate passed this bad piece of legislation, <[link removed]> shifting Postal Service retiree health costs to the already strained Medicare program, which is already facing insolvency in 2026. Congress is making problems worse by pushing a real solution off to a later date.
“Abortion for All” Act— By a vote of 46-48, Senate Democrats were unsuccessful in their attempt to remove all state-level abortion restriction. Heritage Action key-voted the bill and included it on our scorecard. <[link removed]> Democrats used this vote as a messaging point—they are trying to drum up fear among their base as the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade in the coming months.
SCOTUS— This brings us to Biden’s pick for the Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Harvard trained lawyer and judge who misreads the Constitution. She’s the type of Left-wing judicial activist who can find a right to an abortion, but not a right to own a gun, in the Constitution.
She’s also a radical. Jackson wrote an article in the Harvard Review arguing that state laws regulating sex offenders were “unprincipled” because rapists and child molesters would become “the target of widespread community rejection, antipathy, and scorn…”
Her confirmation hearings in the Senate begin on March 21 and Senators need to ask tough questions. Jackson is a liberal extremist that is out of touch with mainstream American values.
Happening in the States
Florida— There has been a widespread campaign from the Left over Florida’s “Parental Rights in Education Bill”. Watch Heritage Action’s Director of Grassroots Janae Stracke hit back on West Palm beach news. <[link removed]>

Arizona— In the southwest, Arizonans pushed SCR1012 and HCR2025 through their state legislature <[link removed]> to give Arizonans a chance to ensure the safety and security of elections. These bills add a ballot initiative to the November ballot, giving Arizonans the opportunity to directly vote to create universal voter ID requirements.
Georgia— In the Peach state, getting SB 393 passed is a top priority if we want to fight back against censorship from Big Tech companies. SB 393 creates transparency of Big Tech social media companies by implementing public reporting of algorithms and moderation practices.
Additionally, it ensures that users have legal avenues to fight back against Big Tech censorship by establishing a private right of action against Big Tech companies in Georgia. They will be able to take Big Tech to court!
If you live in Georgia, be sure to contact your legislators in support of SB 393.

Utah— Legislators passed HB 313 and it’s headed to the Governor’s desk awaiting a signature. HB 313 strengthens voter ID requirements, keeps private donor influence out of Utah’s elections, and requires the monitoring of ballot drop-boxes with 24-hour surveillance.
